Compatibility for Myers Briggs Types Part 1

Image
When it comes to the compatibility of the Myers Briggs types, there are lots of contradictory theories out there and each of them claims to have found the right fomula. Some of them say that the compatibility is higher as the types are more similar, others sustain the contrary, that the best relationships happen between opposite typologies. In order to shed some light on the matter, I’ve decided to present every one of them in my posts and let you decide for yourself which one is the most accurate. For more on MB compatibility, also read: Compatibility for Myers Briggs Types Part 2 Incompatibility of Myers Briggs Types Identical types compatibility One of the most reasonable explanation for good compatibility is the similarity of the people involved. Although it may sound exciting to fall in love with someone who is very different from yourself, experience has proven that these relationships hardly ever pass the test of time, and soon enough the lack of mutual und...

Here are some celebrities that seem to fit each of the Enneagram types. The typing is probably not 100% accurate, so if you have any additions or objections to these lists, please feel free to place a comment on the blog and I will take your arguments into account. This list is subject to further updates and modifications. Cognitive Functions Free Tests

For those of you who have taken their MB knowledge to a higher level, there are also these very accurate and scientific tests that measure your use of each of the cognitive functions in order to determine your type. The tests are not officially 'online' but they still can be found in the site's archives and they're functional (they will compute your results). Here you go: Cognitive Development Survey  ( attention: Submit link is broken ) This is an extraordinarily accurate test and I very much enjoyed the way it was conceived and carried out. The options are clear and insightful, although I have to stress some of them favor the Intuits as they can get quite abstract. Interstrength Cognitive Assessment  ( valid link ) This is the older version of the above test, with a different form of presentation, but equally reliable. InterStrength Dynamics Assessment  ( attention: Submit link is broken ) This test is said to be one of the best and one of the ...

Free Enneagram Tests

Enneagram Institute RHETI sample Scroll down the page to find the test. It's an excerpt from the longer, paid version of the RHETI test, the only certified Enneagram type indicator to date. I found this shorter test about as accurate as the full version - there are very high chances that your real type is among the first three highest scores. Enneagram Institute QUEST test This is a very short paragraph-based test, in which you have to choose which descriptions fit you best and least from two different groups. The results are sorted by probability in three categories. The greatest advantage of this test is that it won't take more than 10 minutes to complete. Eclectic Energies classical test This test is pretty long, but highly accurate. One of the best you'll find online and my personal favorite. Eclectic Energies test w/ instinctual variants A shorter version, based on word choice. I found it a bit less accurate than the classical test. Quizfarm test This test is ...

Free Jungian Type Tests

Jungian types are similar in theory to Myers Briggs types. Note that the Myers-Briggs ® type can only be achieved by taking the authentic Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® . HumanMetrics Test This is one of the most popular tests online, it's not one of my personal favourites but it's not very long and is sufficiently accurate. Kisa Personality Test This is an interesting test with more uncommon questions. It's rather accurate and it also gives you the "in-between" option. SimilarMinds Short Test A very short test (48 questions), but nonetheless one of the most accurate that I have taken. SimilarMinds Word Test In this test you are given 70 words and you have to decide to what extent they characterize you. SimilarMinds Word Choice Test Very short, very accurate : just 24 pairs of words. Kersey Temperament Sorter This is a very professional and accurate personality test that is being offered to you for free (you will have to register with their site though). ...
